The new school year began last Monday in Kenya and so after our holidays there was a lot of hustle and bustle again. We now teach 210 pupils in seven primary school classes. In addition, 60 children attend preschool. As soon as the building for the kindergarten has been completed, the new children will join the day care.
Every Monday morning, all schools in Kenya traditionally begin the day with a gathering and ceremony to raise the Kenyan flag.
